In a world full of overwhelming advice and conflicting information, Clean Kiwi cuts through the noise – offering easy, practical, and inexpensive ways to reduce toxic exposure for cleaner, healthier living.

More and more chemical-based products are making their way into New Zealand homes, exposing us to some harmful toxins through our food, water supplies, personal care products, the cleaners under our sink, and more. It’s rarely one dramatic event that causes us harm. It’s the repeated, low-level exposure over time that disrupts hormones, weakens immunity, and can lead to unwanted symptoms or illnesses.

Clean Kiwi is the practical guide to changing that, protecting you and your family.

Grounded in well-researched facts, it offers simple, affordable alternatives that genuinely reduce toxic load for improved quality of life.

Real facts. Small changes. A healthier home, without the guesswork. Live cleaner, live better, longer.

About the Author

Debbie Baumgarten is a health and wellness advocate, author, and founder of the Clean Kiwi movement, dedicated to helping people create healthier, lower-tox lifestyles through practical, science-informed choices. Originally from the United States, Debbie now proudly calls New Zealand home, where she has been inspired by the country’s strong connection to health, nature, and environmental stewardship.

After many years of chronic stress and unknowingly exposing herself to everyday environmental toxins, Debbie experienced a significant decline in her health. When conventional medicine offered only symptom management, she began researching the underlying causes of chronic illness and discovered the profound impact that everyday chemical exposures can have on long-term wellbeing. By embracing a healthier lifestyle and reducing her toxic burden, she regained her health and now shares the knowledge she gained to help others. Drawing on extensive research into environmental health, nutrition, and non-toxic living, she is passionate about educating individuals and families on reducing exposure to harmful chemicals found in many everyday products.

Today, Debbie writes to make the science of healthy living practical and accessible. Her goal is to offer accurate information along with simple, realistic changes that can reduce chemical exposure, support long-term wellbeing, and help individuals and families live healthier, happier lives.
