Voices. Visibility. Validation.
Endo Empathy is your emotional companion to life with endometriosis.
Inside, you’ll find validation while reading the emotional stories from 33 members of New Zealand’s endometriosis community. Learn how to identify your feelings by connecting with your body, and ways to care for yourself while making space for these emotions.
Discover more about endometriosis and emotional acceptance through interviews with an obstetrician-gynaecologist, a clinical psychologist and author, and a self-compassion and endometriosis researcher.
Reading Endo Empathy is like getting a big hug from someone who truly knows what you are going through.

About The Author
Natalie Hampshire is an author and communications professional.
After years of pain and suffering, in 2022 she was diagnosed with Stage IV endometriosis in her bowel. In 2023, she had a bowel resection and endometriosis excised from her pelvis. She then lived for four months with a temporary loop ileostomy.
The self-compassion tools she discovered through her emotional journey of diagnosis and recovery motivated her to write Endo Empathy. It is her first nonfiction book.
A lover of sunshine and the beach, Natalie lives in Tauranga with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
Natalie is available for interview. Extracts and images are available on request.
