Are My Thoughts Worth Listening To? is the second book in Becky Overeem’s Thoughts & Feelings series, following on from Is My Worry Worth Worrying About?.

In this beautifully illustrated story, young readers learn how to recognise negative self-talk and take back control.

Through the creation of a “negative thought character”, children are given a practical and empowering tool to challenge intrusive thoughts and build confidence. With Sarah Trolle’s warm artwork and Becky’s gentle, relatable voice, this book offers reassurance, strategy and hope for children navigating self-doubt.

You’re dumb.

You’re going to fail.

You know they don’t like you.

They’re laughing at you.

You know you’re no good.

Do you ever have thoughts like this? I do. I used to be able to ignore them but not lately.

What can I do?

I’ll create a negative thought character that I can talk back to.

If you have lots of negative thoughts like me, this story can help you take control and stop listening to them.

We got this!
